WildPlay Overview
About WildPlay
Our 'Play' programs are not Occupational Therapy services and are accessible for anyone.

At WildPlay, we believe that spending time in nature can have a profound impact on young children's physical, emotional, and social well-being. That's why we created WildSense and WildPlay, our two distinct nature-based play programs.

WildSense is designed for infants aged 0-2 years and their caregivers, and focuses on development through sensory play and exploration. This program is led by experienced occupational therapy assistants who are trained in child development, sensory integration, and play-based learning. Through engaging and developmentally-appropriate activities, infants and their caregivers can build important skills such as sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills, social connections, and language development.

WildPlay is designed for children aged 1-5 years and their caregivers, and has a focus on helping carers and children to build play skills together. This program is led by experienced nature play facilitators who are passionate about outdoor education and adventure-based learning. Activities include games, challenges, and exploration of the natural world, with a focus on building skills such as resilience, communication, and self-confidence.

We strive to create a comfortable and safe atmosphere where children and caregivers feel confident to explore and learn through play. We keep the numbers for all of our programs low to ensure that everyone can feel comfortable and receive individual attention from our experienced and enthusiastic facilitators. Our goal is to help children and caregivers build lasting connections with nature and each other, while fostering important developmental skills in a fun and engaging way.
If you're looking for a fun and inclusive way to connect with nature and your little one, we invite you to explore our WildPlay program offerings. We can't wait to share our love of nature with you and your child!
