WildPlay
Welcome to WildPlay, a program designed for children aged 1-5 years and their carers to play and learn together in a safe and supportive outdoor space. Our aim is to provide a space for each parent and child to develop play skills and form secure attachments while meeting other families in the process.
Benefits of play in early childhood are well documented and include improving physical, social, and emotional development. We believe that risky play is an essential part of children's development and offer opportunities for children to engage in play that involves taking appropriate risks in a safe environment. Through play, children can explore, experiment, and develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and self-confidence.

We base our program on the theory of attachment, which suggests that a secure attachment between a child and their caregiver is vital for their overall development. Through the WildPlay program, we aim to provide a safe space for both parents and children to connect and build secure attachments.
Our WildPlay program takes place in our outdoor therapy space located at 42 Forest Oak Rd, King Creek.
Each session is designed to have a regular rhythm so families know what to expect, but the activities will vary each week, depending on the weather. We do not cancel sessions due to bad weather, but instead, adapt to ensure a positive and safe experience for all. In the case of extreme weather conditions, we will cancel the session and refund the cost.
