Group Occupational Therapy

Our Group OT sessions are perfect for children and families wanting Occupational Therapy, with the added benefit that working in a group provides. Children have the opportunity to connect with peers, develop friendships and build confidence, communication and social skills.

 

 

Each of our OT Groups operate in 10-week blocks. Prior to the blocks, parents will be contacted by our Occupational Therapists to complete social and emotional screening for their child. All sessions are then at Rosewood Wild Therapy.

Week 1: Initial therapy group with 2 OT's & 2 OT assistants onsite for assessment

Week 2-9: Weekly 1 hour therapy sessions with our OT assistants

Week 10: No Therapy- Post therapy screening with parents

To ensure Rosewood Wild Therapy can continue to provide our OT Groups to the community, participants will sign a Service Agreement for the entire 10-week block of therapy.
